Are you a sucky customer?

ARE YOU A SUCKY CUSTOMER? The funny thing is we don't really know that we can be a bad customer until you meet 500 customers a day that constantly makes you feel like kicking each of them in the shins.

Working as a cashier sucks. It's an annoying..standing on your feet for 8 hours and saying the same 5 min conversation over and over and over again till the end of the shift. It is not fun...it is not fulfilling...its all bout the money..

I had one customer call in asking bout the trailer hire. Hey...I am the only person in the whole store...I cant spend 10 minutes listening to your whimpers and answer your 10 million questions while a long line of customers give me their deadly stares. So I told her I had to go....and she slammed down the phone saying "Thanks for the no help at all". Do I feel bad bout it? Obviously. But she wasnt asking the right questions. She asked if I know who had a booking...and I was like "No. It is logged in the machine". If she asked which is taken already I could tell her but not those that are booked. 30 minutes later she arrives in the store to book her trailer...all is available...and she is as sweet as an angel. She must not have known that I was the horror of the lady that refuses to give her her way.

Well...the story is not funny but it is annoying. I realise now that asking the right questions is so important. If not...I would be failing all my subjects and let me tell u...I am having as much problem asking the right questions...and also understanding the answers kakakakak

A few tips for being a good customer :-

1. When asked a question, answer as short and politely as possible. We don't really care to hear your banter and your sob story.

2. Do not complain bout the price. We did not put the price tag on. The company did...put your complains there.

3. Be quick and do not delay. So ladies take out your credit cards and do not start looking only at the counter.....digging everything out from your handbag...seriously.....knowing the secrets of the contents of your handbag is not worth our wait

4. Don't be rude. Speak up when asked a question...unless you are really mute. We can annoy you as much as you think you can look down on us.

Seriously people...customer service is not as fun as everyone puts it!!
