Plank...not splint in the eye!

I remember this parable from the bible about how one person was pointing to the splint in the eyes of another yet failed to notice the plank in his own eye. I have a very good friend who has thought me to always judge myself first of the mistakes that I have made then to actually blame someone else. It was a very good lesson...learning to look at oneself than at others' mistakes.

I feel saddened to know of people who continuously state one thing yet does another. There are some so blind to their own mistakes that they do not even see others around them who are affected by it. However, I do not know what to do with people like that. Seriously, I guess I believe that is not my problem. But sometimes I remembered those times my good friend warned me about the horror things I did and stopped me in time to make ammends....so should I do the same? As 'the better than thou' attitude comes about...do they not see the people affected by it?

Life is all a learning process.....I guess we slowly have to take the short steps to improvement. But the first step for that....is knowing that we should improve!!! So, look into our hearts and find what is wrong. Appreciate what you have...and learn not to judge too much. It was never our duty to do so in the first place.....

Sulking to smilling!!!!

This past few weeks have been real stressful for me. I have been juggling between classes, assignments, applying for my Australian universities, looking for a job, gym and my own personal life. Everyone has been bugging me to update my blog but I never seem to have the time.

However, YEEEEEHAAAAAAAA this good news I got to blog about. M! the Opera is playing and I could not get any tickets to watch it. I once long time ago...took a leap of faith....and went for the audition for one of the parts. It was fun...running around in heels....singing in groups....and dancing under the spotlight. Anyway, I did not get the part....that is for sure. From then on...I was hooked on seeing how M! the Opera would turn out.

I was bugging people to ask if there was any tickets left but all in all....I was out of luck. Suddenly, my lecturer called at 10 am today saying that all the choir members get FREE tickets that are worth RM150. That is like front row seats!!! wooooooooooo hooooooooo....worth cheering for it!!!!

2 hours later...a friend called me asking bout this 'orchestra' thingie which the choir was goin for free. I laughed out loud....screaming to correct her....kakakaka. Gosh am I excited!!!
